Ambassador: Media can play a pivotal role in further promoting relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan

Azerbaijan and Pakistan are well tied in religious, cultural and brotherly relations. And it is the need of the hour to promote these relations. These views were expressed by the Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Alizada while talking to a delegation headed by Executive Director of Centre for Global & Strategic Studies(CGSS) , Col (R ) Khalid Taimur Akram and Senior Director of the Board, Ashfaq Gondal. Group Editor, Riaz Ahmed Malik of renowned English Daily of the Federal Capital, National Herald Tribune and Chief News Editor, Saleem Rais. Asif Qazi of High Vision Production were also present.
Ambassador said that media can play a pivotal role in further promoting relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. He said that the visit of media delegations between the two countries will be beneficial for the people of both the countries. He said that a meeting of senior media representatives of both the countries will soon be held.
Col(R ) Khalid Taimur Akram said that the people and businessmen of both the countries can benefit from the news to promote trade and tourism. He said in this connection an MOU should be signed between Azerbaijan’s state news agency and Daily National Herald Tribune.
Ashfaq Gondal while describing economic, cultural and trade relations between the two countries said that cooperation in these fields will further be promoted.
On this occasion Riaz Malik, Saleem Rais and Asif Qazi have assured the Ambassador of full cooperation from their institutions. They have reiterated that they would play their role in the publication of positive news and making documentaries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan for the people of both the countries.
Mr. Samir Guliyev, Second Secretary of the Embassy was also present during the meeting.
