Azerbaijani organization joins SCO Think Tank Alliance - PHOTO

The international expert club "Eurasia-Azerbaijan" has become a full member of the Consortium of think tanks of the SCO on the economy.

According to Vzglyad.az, on May 25, the SCO Economic Forum and the inaugural conference of the SCO Economic Analytical Centers Consortium took place in Beijing.


At the grand opening of the forum, the Vice Minister of Commerce of People's Republic of China, Mr. Qian Keming, President of the Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce of China Gu Xueming, Mayor of Qingdao Meng Fanli made a speech.

The forum saw the signing of the documents: the concept of forming a Consortium of SCO Economic Analytical Centers and the Beijing Consensus Consortium of SCO Economic Analytical Centers. The documents were signed by the economic “think tanks” of Azerbaijan, Turkey, China, India, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Mongolia.
